Margaret Thatcher RIP

It seems oddly appropriate that the post which follows the single finger salute to the President of Argentina should be one that commemorates the life of one of our greatest Prime Ministers.

I can think of no other Prime Minister since then (from any party) who would have been prepared to confront the Argentinians in the way that Margaret Thatcher was prepared to do so.

I have met both her and David Cameron. Sadly, there is no comparison between the two.
